      • The Ascension of Our Lord celebrates the day that Christ, in the presence of His apostles, ascended bodily into Heaven. The Ascension occurred 40 days after Easter Sunday, so it falls on a Thursday; however, in most dioceses in the United States, including the Diocese of Stockton, the celebration of the Ascension has been transferred to the following Sunday.
      • Catholic Charities provides a variety of social services for the frail elderly, emergency food for families, access to health insurance for children, immigration services for families and abused women, a parish social ministry support program, and legislative advocacy on priority issues. A 2nd collection for Catholic Charities will be held the weekend of May 20th. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. A video link with more information is available...
      • I wish to extend a heartfelt “Thank You” to all the members of the Gala Committee who worked many hours in preparation and working for this year’s Gala event. This year’s theme was “Paraiso em Portugal” which was held at the Holy Family Center.
      • Elections for the Pastoral Council will be held the weekend of May 19/20 during all Masses. Photos and information about the candidates are posted on the Parish website and in the Vestibule & at the entrance of Holy Family Center. We will be voting to elect two new members to the Pastoral Council.
      • Fr. Teo Rustia will facilitate this Pentecost healing retreat on May 19th & 20th. Sponsored by the Charismatic Prayer Group.
