Dear Friends in Christ,

Each day I consider myself blessed that I was asked to be pastor of St. Bernard's Church. In the years I have been here I have seen our parish family grow, not just in number but in spirituality, commitment and service. The Lord has truly blessed this parish.

I am sure those who established a Catholic Church in Tracy almost 115 years ago had no idea how it would grow. We must remember that we build on the foundation they established and be thankful for the prayers and the work of so many priests, religious and laity who have labored to make our parish what it is today.

Our parish is truly alive and filled with the Holy Spirit. As pastor, I am most grateful to the many people who have responded wholeheartedly to the call to ministry - men and women who give so generously of their time and talents to serve other members of our parish family.

In this pamphlet you will find information regarding daily liturgies (mass schedules), weekend liturgies, reconciliation schedules, as well as the procedures for Baptism, First Reconciliation/First Communion, Matrimony, and Anointing of the Sick. Please take a few minutes to review this information. We hope you find this packet useful and informative. Please feel free to contact any member of our staff should you have any questions.

I look forward to meeting you and welcoming you as a new member of our parish family.

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Rev. Msgr. Ivo Rocha
