FEAST OF

OUR LADY OF FATIMA

Triduum: 

Starting October 22nd through the 24th, at 7:00 p.m. with the recitation of the rosary followed by Mass in Portuguese.  Our Celebrant will be:  Rev. Marco Paulo Gomes, native of Santa Maria and Pastor of San Roque, Pico, Azores.

FESTIVITIES

Saturday, October 25, 2008

6:30 p.m.    High Mass in Portuguese, followed by candlelight procession with the recitation of the Rosary, enhanced by the band "Nova Artista Açoriana" of Tracy.

9:00 p.m.    Opening of the "Bazaar"     An exhibition by the folklore group: "Luso-American" of Tracy.  A film of the "Apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima".

Sunday, October 26, 2008

10:30 a.m.    High Mass in Portuguese, followed by solemn procession with the statue of Our Lady of Fatima enhanced by the bands: "Nova Artista Açoriana" of Tracy and "Azores Band" of Escalon.

1:00 p.m.    Lunch offered the Committee of Our Lady of Fatima.  Concert during lunch by the bands: "Nova Artista Açoriana" of Tracy and "Azores Band" of Escalon.

2:00 p.m.    Auction and "Bazaar"

5:00 p.m.    Exhibition by the groups: "Nove Ilhas" of Sacramento, and "Mar Alto" of Turlock.

7:30 p.m.    Dinner offered by the Committee of Our Lady of Fatima.

9:00 p.m.    Close of celebration with a candlelight appreciation ceremony for Our Lady of Fatima in the Church.
