Domestic Church
Catechesis
. . .
. . . is a process that enables the parents to
be the primary educators of their children as they
prepare for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
This is a two-year
process. A student must be at least in 3rd grade to receive the
Sacrament of Holy Communion. The parents are required to complete 40 hours (20 per year)
of Adult Religious Education. The 40 hours must be completed
before the child can begin their final year of preparation.
