St. Bernard's invites all women, ages 21 and older, to an evening of Faith, Friends & Cabernet at the Holy Family Center in Person. It is a time where women can find FRIENDS and FAITH together in a comfortable environment while sipping on a glass of wine. Bring a main or side dish or dessert and a bottle of wine to share with your sisters in Christ.

Meet Our speakers for our November Faith friends and CabernetFr Brian Shininger is originally from Defiance, Ohio. He comes from a large family that helped foster a caring spirit which is evident in the individual attention that he gives each person he meets. Fr Brian is the chaplain of the Regnum Christi Women’s section in San Jose and the chaplain of All Things Women and Direction For Your Soul.
After having obtained a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Bowling Green State University he later entered the Legionaries of Christ in 1994. He completed his seminary studies at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum in Rome, Italy, and was ordained to the priesthood in 2005.
Fr Brian is a gifted spiritual director whose calming presence sets everyone at ease. He currently serves as a retreat director at Our Lady of Santa Clara Retreat Center in Cupertino, California.
Gail D’Silva has a deep passion for connecting people and ministering to women. Gail is the Director of Operations at Our Lady of Santa Clara Retreat Center. Before that, she was the Executive Director of Strategy Law, LLP, a law firm in San Jose. Gail was also a co-founder of JAUST Consulting Partners, a software consulting company. At JAUST she led their
global operations in the US, Canada, and India.
Gail has 20+ years of experience in human resources, operations, and recruiting within the high-tech industry. She has been a guest speaker at networking events, intriguing audiences about her journey from being an immigrant to a successful entrepreneur.
Gail and her husband Bosco were an active part of the Canyon Heights Academy community for nine years while educating their son Jason at the school. Gail’s faith journey led her to associate with the Regnum Christi Movement in 2019. She now plays an instrumental role at All Things Women through our personalized client services, Direction For Your Soul. Gail assists with Inner Healing prayer sessions and is currently enrolled as a student in Encounter Ministries. Gail is an active member of the Divine Mercy Healing Team at Our Lady of Santa Clara Retreat Center. -
