Vocations Ministry
Ministry dedicated to help every person discover and respond to God's unique call in their life.
VOCATIONS MINISTRY IN THE CATHOLIC FAITH
The Vocations Ministry in the Catholic Church is dedicated to helping every person discover and respond to God's unique call in their life. A "vocation" means a calling from God - whether to marriage, priesthood, consecrated life, or single life - to live faithfully and serve other in love. This ministry promotes prayer, awareness, and education about vocations in parishes, schools, and families. It encourages young people to listen for God's voice, supports those discerning religious life, and helps the tnerie faith community recognize that every vocation is a gift meant for the service of God's people. The goal of the Vocation Ministry is to build a culture of faith and openness where all are encouraged to ask, "Lord, what do You want me to do?" and to joyfully follow wherever He leads.
Traveling Vocations Cross – A Weekly Tradition of Prayer
Each weekend during our Spanish Masses (Mass Schedule), our parish’s Traveling Vocations Cross is entrusted to the home of a parishioner for the one week. This special cross is a beautiful way for families to come together in prayer, asking God to bless our Church with holy vocations to the priesthood, diaconate, and religious life.
If you and your family would like to take part in this meaningful tradition and welcome the cross into your home for a week, please contact us at the phone number or email listed above.
Your prayers truly make a difference!
